- When we look into the eyes of the other we are looking through a glass darkly into another civilization, perhaps another planet, where there are dark continents that may even be unknown to the other. We are also such a planet of known and unknown parts. My friend Android Jones captures this so brilliantly in his painting, Love is a Riot, which I am standing in front of during a security shift at the Fractal Planet art dome, Burning Man 2013.
