Listen to the calm, clear, compassionate voices. Don’t follow any inner or interpersonal voices that are bitter, hysterical, nagging, overbearing, belittling, or compulsively insistent — any voices that aren’t calm and compassionate. Be aware of what they are saying, but take it with many grains of salt. There is a saying, “Love is cool; it is not hot.”
